What the heck?
A picture of a beautifully vivid red strawberry in b&w?
Yup.
Who said it was red?
Think about it. Use your imagination.
Maybe it's a purple strawberry!
Hell, anything is possible these days (especially with all the preservatives and pesticides used on food...but let's save that conversation for another day!)
sam...this is extraordinary. i love your courage in questioning the categories and assumptions that we hold about reality. doing so goes to the heart of truth. i have been enjoying your photography through tor waschenko's FB. i am her aunt...living in colorado... hoping to write my own story. if you ever want to do a road trip with friends to crestone (an extraordinary little town) with amazing photographic potential, feel free to ask tor how to reach me. or better yet, meet her here. you would be most welcome! i look forward to watching your beautiful story unfold. you are a source of hope and inspiration... keep going...

ReplyDeletethank you SO much. it means the world to me that you enjoy my photography, it really does!! I am so happy that I have the ability to make an impression on someone. ...and there's a possibility I might look you up if I head to Colorado!! I have never been to Crestone, but my brother lives in Boulder and i LOVE it there. I'm always looking for road trips, and definitely road trips to places with photographic potential. come to think of it, i tend to only go to places with photographic potential!! :) again, thanks so much for the comment!!
